About

Mama’s is a mental health support kit designed specifically for high school girls experiencing Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). Comprising three products, this kit is based on the metaphor ‘a mental health kit is a mother.’ Each product is shaped by the three indispensable qualities of a mother: wisdom, pride, and ease.

Mama's Pride

Introducing Mama’s Pride, a self-care companion that celebrates the power of reflection. Designed for individuals with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), it becomes part of the user’s emotional journey. After returning home, the interaction is simple yet profound: on good days, the object is held up—a personal symbol of pride. On bad days, a gentle touch activates sensor-based feedback, sparking dynamic light and sound responses. Like a social trophy, Mama’s Pride creates a moment of connection, offering comfort and solidarity, even across distances.

Mama's Wisdom

Introducing Mama’s Wisdom, a calming companion designed to support individuals during moments of stress and self-doubt. The product offers two distinct scenarios: one focused on relaxation, the other on gentle distraction through knowledge. Before stressful events, it soothes the user with infrasonic resonances, promoting calm and confidence. In tense environments, it shifts attention through body-positive affirmations and interactive animations, helping to ease the mind.

You can find the scenario video below.

Mama's Ease
Mama's Ease

Introducing Mama’s Ease, a comforting product that embodies the nurturing and soothing qualities of a mother. Designed for relaxation after a long day, its interlocking modular system allows users to adapt the product for various purposes. The angled structure responds to the user’s weight, creating a gentle rocking motion reminiscent of a cradle. Foldable and portable, this comfort module brings relaxation and warmth wherever it’s needed.

There is no greater design than the one that nurtures both the mind and soul.
